Apple is set to roll out foldable devices, of which the first may arrive at the stores in early 2026. As per the reports, the company's first foldable iPhone will make its debut in 2026, while its foldable iPad will be released in 2028.
The foldable iPhone will have a profile of 8 millimeters and can unfold to a display that is around 7 inches, which is greater than iPhone 16 Pro Max measuring 6.9-inch screen. While packing it with top-of-the-line cameras and powerful chips, the flagship model will also feature a flexible OLED display.
On the upcoming foldable iPad, Mark Gurman of Bloomberg wrote that it’s “like a giant iPad that unfolds into the size of two iPad Pros side-by-side.” He added that the “higher-end device” is a “single, uninterrupted piece of glass.”
He added that the foldable iPad will run on iPadOS version, but can also have elements of iPad and Mac.
Apple is set to roll out those foldable tablets with large screens that are small enough to carry in our backpacks. When unfolded, the tablet is set to have a 19-inch display.
